About Us

S. Ayesha Wright is the Owner and Operator of Life's Paper, culturally designed gift wrap paper. She creates the cultural design concepts.

Ayesha is a mother of one daughter and was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA and raised in Roxbury, MA. She is currently a Boston Public School teacher, teaching English as a Second Language (ESL). She is also serves in several work capacities for A Nubian Notion, Inc., her family's afrocentric gift shop business, which has been in existence for over 52 years in Roxbury, MA.

Her inspiration to create cultural gift wrap paper stems from working inside her family's business where Ayesha was exposed to afrocentric artifacts and stationery during her upbringing. She also noticed a lack of diversity in the selection of wrapping paper.

Her academic background includes being a graduate of Northeastern University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Technical Writing and Simmons College Graduate Studies with a Master of Arts degree Teaching English as a Second Language.

Ayesha's passion is community service to young people of color and education. She currently resides in Boston, MA with her daughter Nia and their cat Macho.
