About Me

My name is S. Ayesha Wright, owner and operator of Life's Paper.  My inspiration to create culturally designed stationery stems from growing up and working in my family's business, A Nubian Notion, Inc., in Roxbury, MA, an urban neighborhood of Boston.  Starting in 1962, my family's business sold greeting cards from Black owned greeting card companies and foreign and domestic afrocentric gifts for over 54 years.

In my academic career, I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Technical Writing from Northeastern University and a Master of Arts Teaching English as a Second Language degree from Simmons University.  I am currently pursuing a Masters in Education Leadership degree from Harvard University Graduate School of Education.

My day job is currently an English Learner Director in the Boston Public Schools. I live in Roxbury with my cat Macho.  Yes, I'm a pet parent!  When I'm not designing, I love dining out for food, shoes and watching documentaries.

I do not eat pork.

As I enjoy bringing you stationery with Afrocentric value, I invite you to explore the meaning of Life's Paper designs and the expressions.   Come along on this journey as I show you what's in my mind for stationery.

Life and Love Everyone!
